Storyteller

Costumes and props abound, as well as singing, dancing and laughter, while imaginations are engaged for serious learning. Ann Griffith, an interactive storyteller with a background in theatre and education, is guided by the quote, "Tell me and I will forget. Show me, and I will remember. Involve me, and I will understand forever." Ann fosters a supportive environment that promotes collaboration, cooperation, respect, and trust. Participants make stories their own through theatre/storytelling games, dramatic improvisations, music, movement, and performance. Recipient of grants from the PA Council on the Arts, PA Historical and Museum Commission, and Adams County Arts Council, Ann works with schools, libraries, after-school programs and community groups to create new programs and residencies that enhance educational goals, themes and curriculums.
